A Cross In The Distance...
I'm still on vacation, but I really needed to post. My mother in law and I decided to embark on a HUGE hike up a very steep mountain. It was absolutely, bar none the most physically challenging adventure I've ever done. While up there, of course I decided to take pictures. I saw this tree in a distance that reminded me of a cross. I even said to Shirley, "look, a cross in the distance, that is pretty amazing, I wonder if it's a sign or something"
Once we decended down the mountain, I don't know why, but I checked my phone. My sister had left me a text that an incredible woman we know had passed. My sister had a very special bond with her, so I feel terrible that I can't be there for her. I will be home on Sunday, but I can't be there TODAY for her. My heart is saddened and I feel so much sympathy for the Leonard family. Debra will be missed by so many, myself included, she is one of a kind.
I DO think this tree was a sign, a sign that Debra is at peace and is no longer in pain or suffering, she has made her journey home...
